Tri Sharcs is an annual club founded by a small group of tri-athletes who wanted to have a more comprehensive training regiment in addition to maintaining the fun social atmosphere provided by triathlon training and racing.|
Participation in the club is entirely determined by you, as much or as little as you choose, there are no requirements. Training times, club events, and club races are picked by you! We will be having three official club workouts a week mostly unstructured, sometimes with a guest instructor, in the near future with our very own HeartZone certified coaches. All practices are done according to your ability and fitness level. You are encouraged to talk with other club members and get together for additional workouts that will better fit your own schedules and training plans. The club will help with coordinating additional workout times all you need to do is let us know where, when, and what you would like to do and we will forward the information to the rest of the club.
Tri Sharcs aims to give aspiring and experienced tri-athletes an exciting and dynamic atmosphere to enjoy the sport of triathlon. Our goals as a club will be to provide motivation, support, teamwork, and most importantly a fun experience.
