Sherry Boston Rennard (Coach SBR) lives in Orange County, California, where she leads the Team Elite triathlon team alongside Team Captain, Jennifer O’Keefe. Sherry is an elite level amateur athlete who has won her age group in four IRONMAN races, countless IRONMAN 70.3 races, shorter distance triathlons, and trail races.
Beyond her individual achievements, Sherry has built a thriving triathlon and endurance sports team with an incredible culture and community feel.
We may be called “Team Elite”, but we’re really just a bunch of average Joes (and Janes) who love to swim, bike, and run!
Coach SBR and the team have become a wonderful resource for individual athletes looking for the camaraderie of like-minded people to share their endurance sports journey with. It is not uncommon for a new team member to use the encouragement and support of the group to tackle their first century ride, open water race, 70.3 / 140.6, or ultra marathon.
