Applying the martial arts concept of Zen to triathlon and endurance training, Zen 4U Coaching specializes in helping newcomers and novices get started in the sports of triathlon and running. We also coach 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon athletes. 
Glenn believes that any athlete should be able to experience the benefits of having a coach, so Zen 4U Coaching offers full service coaching at a reasonable rate.

Glenn has been participating in triathlons since 2006. He has raced in all distances of the sport: sprint, Olympic, 70.3 and Iron. In 2011, he crossed the finish line at the Ford Ironman Louisville, making him a two-time finisher of iron distance events. (His first finish was in the Beach2Battleship Full Iron Race in November of 2010). In addition to founding and owning Zen 4U Coaching, Glenn is also the owner and chief instructor of Japan Karate Institute Daniel Island. A 3rd degree black belt in Wado Ryu Karate, Glenn has been teaching karate since 2002. In 2009, JKIDI was voted best martial arts instruction in Charleston, SC by the readers of Lowcountry Parent Magazine
In 2012, Glenn received his USA Triathlon Level 1 Coaching Certification and opened Zen 4U Coaching to help others get started in the sport of triathlon. In 2011, he assembled and coached Charleston's first triathlon team comprised solely of newcomers to the sport. D.I. Tri'n Triathlon Team will compete in the Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series again this year.
He is married and has one daughter.
