After competing in swimming for years, Hollie switched to Cross County, Indoor and Outdoor Track and was the first athlete ever to graduate with 12 varsity letters at Dulaney HS. She earned 16 county titles, and was runner up in the State championships 3 consecutive years and was second at the XCountry Nationals in 1988. In 2005, Hollie was inducted into the Dulaney Hall of Fame. After High School, Hollie went on for another 12 varsity seasons at Duquesne University where she broke the school's mile record (4:54). During her freshman year in college, she signed up for her first triathlon (Baltimore Bud Light 1991). The former Head Cross Country, Track and Swimming coach at the Johns Hopkins University, Hollie is now an 18 time All American Professional Triathlete. 6 time Ironman finisher, which includes 2 podium finishes at the Ironman Hawaii World Championships, a top 5 at Ironman Lake Placid and winner of over two dozen triathlons world wide.... Has been coahing since 1996.
