An athlete her whole life, Elizabeth stumbled upon the sport of triathlon in 1993, competing in her first race with borrowed bike and little running experience. Sixteen years later and over 70 races finished, Liz has become a passionate advocate and respected coach in the sport of triathlon.
Liz is a nationally ranked amateur triathlete and a multi-year member of Team USA. She has competed in the international distance ITU World Championships in 2003 Queenstown, NZ and Honolulu, HI in 2005.
In 2008, she qualified and competed in the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Liz was a NCAA division I scholar athlete in swimming at University of Maryland, Baltimore County and she has coached age-group and master swimmers for many years . She is also a certified spinning instructor and has been leading packed spin classes for over 10 years as well.
For the past five years, Elizabeth has been a triathlon coach for TriUScoaching, which specialized in group and individual triathlon training programs as well racing clinics.
Elizabeth is a USA Triathlon (USAT) certified coach and is thrilled to bring her experience to Be More Triathlon Coaching and Events.
