Junior (14-under): 1 lap 6 miles | Novice/Novice HS (High School Riders): 2 lap 12 miles | Sport/Sport HS/Single-Speed: 3 laps 18 miles | Expert/SS Expert/Pro: 4 laps 24 miles
The MTB Classic has a 1-lap Junior division, a separate wave of 2-lap for High School Novice riders, a 2-lap Novice division, 3 laps for Sport and Single Speed divisions, and a 4-lap Expert/SS Expert and Pro division. Each lap is 6 miles of challenging, scenic, fast single track trails, up and down the foothills surrounding Folsom Lake. The High School divisions for Novice, Sport and Expert will have their own start waves.

Course Information:
The MTB Classic race course is on multi-use trails within the Granite Bay State Park on Folsom Lake. The course features a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with some sand and a bit of pavement. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun for all levels. Please be respectful of other trail users including hikers and equestrian riders in this state park. All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all weather.

Directions:
From the Bay Area take Interstate 80
east to Douglas Blvd.
From Reno take Interstate 80 west to Douglas Blvd.
Granite Bay State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $10 vehicle charge for day-use or $125 for an annual pass.

Listening devices of any kind: MP3, IPod, headphones, etcare not allowed. Helmets must be worn and buckled on the bike at all times.
