MTB Madness Cross Country Mountain Bike Team Race : Off Road |

The MTB Madness - Team Mountain Bike Racing will feature Team Competition in Cross Country Mountain Bike Racing. The MTB Teams with the most and fastest riders will win a Cash Prize and Huge Club Trophy.Each lap is 8 miles of challenging, scenic, fast single track trails, up and down the foothills surrounding Folsom Lake. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun skilled riders as well. All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all weather.
The MTB Madness will feature Individual and Team Competition in the Cross Country race, plus Big Air and Wheelie contests. The MTB Madness has a 1-lap Junior division, a 2-lap Novice/HS Novice division, 3 laps for Sport/HS Sport/Single Speed divisions, and a 4-lap Expert/HS Expert/SS Expert/Pro division.
Course Description:
The MTB Madness race course is on multi-use trails within the Granite Bay State Park on Folsom Lake. The course features a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with some sand and a bit of pavement. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun for all levels. Please be respectful of other trail users including hikers and equestrian riders in this state park. All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all weather.
Feed Zones:
Feed zones will be located on the course serving bottles of cold water, and Electrolyte beverage.

From the Bay Area take Interstate 80 east to Douglas Blvd.
From Reno take Interstate 80 west to Douglas Blvd.
Granite Bay
State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East
of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the
Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $10 vehicle charge for day-use or $125
for an annual pass.
