Triathlon : Swim 10 Minutes, Bike 20 Minutes, Run 15 Minutes |
About This Event
This is an indoor event. A swim, bike and run in which everyone will be racing the same amount of time. The challenge is to get as much distance as you can in the set among of time. The times are as follows: 10 minute swim (In an indoor pool); 10 minute transition; 20 minute bike (On a stationary bike); 5 minute transition; 15 minute run (On an indoor track)
Race Wave Assignments
We will be unable to take requests for specific waves, however we will be assigning waves based on the times you provide for your swim and run. If you would like to be in a wave near a friend please sign up with the same times. This will not guarantee that you will be in the same wave but you will be as close as possible. Waves will be ordered slowest to fastest times for open and fastest to slowest times for collegiate. Open racers will race in the morning and the first collegiate wave will begin after the last open wave.
The race takes place entirely indoors at the OSU Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC).
Swim- The 10 minute swim takes place in the OSU indoor competition pool.
Transition 1- Racers are allotted 10 minutes to change in our locker rooms.
Bike- The 20 minute bike will take place on the top floor of the RPAC on stationary bikes.
Transition 2- Racers are allotted 5 minutes between the bike a run phases of the race.
Run- The 15 minute run takes place on the indoor track on the top floor of the RPAC.
