2010 Healthy Heart Triathlon:

  • The Men of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Southeast Missouri State University are hosting the 3rd Annual Healthy Heart Triathlon. The race starts at The Student Aquatic Center located behind the Show Me Center off N. Sprigg.
  • The swim takes place in the pool; the bike and running routes have been mapped out and the URL links are available below.
  • After the race, we invite everyone over to Greystone, which is one of our on-campus houses, for a BBQ and the awards ceremony. Greystone is adjacent to the Show Me Center parking lot.
  • The event is open to all ages and everyone is encouraged to participate. The triathlon was scheduled this weekend to coincide with the start of the triathlon season, so our triathlon is perfect for experienced triathletes looking for a tune-up race; however, encourage anyone looking to do their first triathlon to register.
  • The event is designed to make the event comfortable for any experience level. We also allow participants to compete in teams of two or three. So if you do not think you can do the race yourself, get a couple of friends to do it with you. No matter how or who you do it with, the event is sure to be a good time!

  • The Healthy Heart Triathlon raises money for our national philanthropy, YouthAIDS. YouthAIDS is the AIDS -education and prevention- program of Population Services International, which is a non-profit organization that strives to help low-income families, in more than 60 countries, live healthier lives.
  • Since all the start-up-costs are covered through donations, we guarantee that your entire registration fee will go to YouthAIDS.
