2013 Wall Lake Sprint Triathlon:

500 Yard Lake Swim - 20K Bike Ride - 5K Run
AllSportCentral Champion Chip timed event.
TRIATHLON NOTES: Participants must wear helmet, helmet numbers, bike numbers, bib facing forward during run and mark numbers on body for the swim. Swim caps must be worn.
Assigned Chip MUST be on ankle using a Velcro strap during all phases of the event. Chip and strap will be returned at finish line. This is not a USAT sanctioned event. We are here to have a good time and enjoy the beautiful area.
Please be at Wall Lake with your bike racked in the transition area, marked up and numbers on ready to go by 7:20 am. Pre-race instructions start at 7:45 am..
Each age group winner will receive a medal. Overall Male and Female winner will each receive a $75.00 gift certificate from Scheels.
TEAM CAPTAINS: Must register entire team during registration by first registering as a captain then clicking on the proper link on the receipt page to enter remaining team members. If you need to add or edit team member information after you have registered as the team captain, simply login with the AllSportCentral Athlete account that you used when registering and select MANAGE TEAM ROSTER icon from your Athlete home page to update your team roster.
500 yards out and back swim starting from the beach. Please mark arms and legs with participant numbers using a black marker. Chip must be on ankle using a Velcro strap during all phases of the event. We will institute a three wave start: TEAM at 8:00 am; MEN at 8:05 am; and WOMEN at 8:10 am.
TRANSITION ONE (T1):
SWIM TO BIKE:
Bikes must be racked in the transition area according to your race number. Enter the transition area from the beach after the swim and exit by running your bike over the BIKE OUT timing mats prior to mounting your bike. You are not allowed to ride your bike in the transition area. Swim-Bike Transition Time (T1) begins when you cross Swim Finish mat on beach when exiting water and ends when cross Bike Out mat exiting transition area
13 miles out and back bike ride south of Wall Lake. Place bike number over the cross bar so that it is visible by event officials on either side of your bike. Place helmet number on the front of your helmet so that it is visible by event officials. The roads are not closed so watch for vehicles on the road. For your own safety, bike helmets are required. Bike In Transition Area will be the same location as Bike Out but will be divided by cones. Be sure to exit on the BIKE OUT side and enter on the BIKE IN side of the mats.
TRANSITION TWO (T2):
BIKE TO RUN:
Dismount bike upon entering the transition area and run your bike to your individual area. Place participant number (BIB) on front of shirt, shorts, or triathlon BIB belt. Bike-Run Transition Time (T2) begins when you cross Bike In mat at transition area and ends when cross Run Out mat exiting transition area on foot
3.1 mile out and back run west of Wall Lake. Run time begins when crossing the RUN OUT timing mats and neds when you cross the finish line. When finishing make sure the back up timers see your BIB number when crossing the finish line. Return your rental chip and strap at the end of the finish chute.

Take 41st St (267th St) to 463rd Ave.
Go North on 463rd Ave to 266th Ave.
Turn west at Wall Lake Park
