Youll start out with the 5K runners and walkers. When you finish your 5K, youll transition directly into the 17 mile bike ride, then youll go on a 2.2-mile run down the south side of Lake Linville, finishing back at the starting area. Awards will be given to the overall male and female finisher and to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age divisions: 16 & under, 17 - 24, 25 - 34, 35 - 44, 45 - 54, and 55+. NOTE: Duathlon is pre-registration only. Deadline:?12:00 NOON Monday, August 12. Registration fee: $45. (Participants must wear helmet during ride.)
