2012 Lech Lecha Triathlon:
- This triathlon is an amateur neighborhood triathlon and takes place on an open road course.
- It is designed for those who want to attempt their first triathlon.
- All triathletes are welcomed!
- Limited to 75 participants.
Course Information:
Swim:- Suncrest Lake is a clear private lake in a residential neighborhood.
- The lake is 15 feet deep in the middle and is spring fed.
- The swim course is a circular loop with marked buoys at the 50 yard and 100 yard intervals with plenty of spectator access on the shore line.
- The water temperature in Suncrest Lake in June is approximately 74 degrees.
Bike: - The bike portion is a country ride with a steep uphill grade at the 2 mile mark.
- It then wanders downhill through the country farm side in a large loop and returns through the neighborhood.
- The total distance for the bike course is 10.4 miles.
Run: - The run portion is in a residential neighborhood and is essentially flat.
- The total distance for the run course is 2.1 miles.
Directions:
PARKING:- Participants and spectators can park on Suncrest Court east of Suncrest Drive, between Suncrest Drive and Kenowa Avenue.
- Parking is also available In the Rivertown Honda dealership parking lot which is directly east of Kenowa Avenue.
- or on Suncrest Court west of the staging area.
