2014 New Year's Kendall Webb Memorial Triathlon:

Want to do a Triathlon without the cold, dirty, salty water of the bay? This race is for YOU. Perfect for beginners or advanced athletes, the New Year's Kendall Webb reverse Triathlon is held at the awesome YMCA Mission Valley (west). The run course heads out Friars Rd to Sea World Dr and back. The bike course is a flat and fast course out to Fiesta Island for two big-loops and heads back to the YMCA. There will be little or no car traffic on the bike ride. The swim uses the awesome YMCA pool.

Additional Information

The Triathlon format is in reverse as follows: 3mi. run - 10mi. bike - 200yd. swim. The beautiful pool at the YMCA is heated. The 3mi. run is as flat as you can get. The bike ride is also flat and fast. The swim portion is spectator friendly! So bring your family and friends and have them grab one of our cowbells to help cheer you on! Competitors compete in 5 year age-groups starting at 15-19 and on up to 75-79.
