The 30th annual DeLeon Springs hlf marathon offers 13.1 miles of pancake flat rural running.

Speaking of pancakes, budget some time after the race to visit the Olde Spanish Sugar Mill at the nearby State Park, one of Florida's most unique restaurants where make-your-own whole grain flapjacks are the house specialty.
Regardless of the air temp, it's always 72 in the spring and there's generally someone swimming.
