1. 2- 4 Hour - Sprint (Marked trek, bike, paddle - NEW - relay category )
2. 6 Hour Race (Short Course - Navigation, Trek, Bike, Paddle - Navigation clinics will be offered click HERE)
3. 12 Hour Race (Long Course - Navigation, Trek, Bike, Paddle - USARA National Qualifier for 2010!)

6 Hour - Intermediate/Advanced
· Teams of 1,2 or 3 will travel on single track, trails, jeep roads, and pavement.
· This is a great race for beginning navigators or teams not wanting to go the full 12 hours.
· We will be offering navigation clinics - NAV TEXAS - to beginner and intermediate navigators in Feb and March to prepare you for this race - (Separate fees will apply - we will announce dates soon)
· Disciplines will include , trekking 5-7 miles, biking 15-20 miles, paddling 2-4 miles, and mystery events (all distances are approximate - be prepared to go further if the race course requires it)
· You will be required to plot using a utm plotter and have general knowledge of land navigation
· Race cut off 6 Hours and 1 minute after start (1 cp deduction per minute after)

· Navigators can attend the NAV TEXAS Clinics to prepare for this race -see below

Pre-Race : 7:30 am
RACE LOCATION: Double Lakes Recreation Area, Coldsprings, TX
Directions: From Hwy. 59 in Cleveland, take FM 2025 north 17 mi., turn right at Double Lake.
From I-45, exit at New Waverly, take SH 150 east 25 mi., take FM 2025 S 1/2 mi., turn left at Double Lake.
LODGING - Camping on site - Reserve early - Call 877-444-6777 for reservations.

Canoe Rental
We make it easy! Get a canoe, paddles, and pfds delivered to the race site and picked up when you are finished. The cost is $50 per canoe and includes pfd and paddles. Reserve yours during online registration.
