Rochesterfest hosts numerous different events such as shows, live music, a parade and various other outdoor activities. Plan to spend more time in Rochester and take in the great events!
The Olympic Triathlon has a 1.5 K Swim, 40K Bike and a 10K Run. The Sprint Triathlon has a 14 mile Swim, 10 mile Bike and a 5K Run.
All participants will also receive a technical shirt for coming! There is a purse prize for the top 5 Male and Female finishers in the Olympic Race. Participant t-shirts are by BornFit. Unisex Sizing.

Ameteurelite - are participants who have specifically signed up as an amateurelite and will race in their own wave with other amateurelites. Only amateurelite participants are eligible for cash prizes and will not be eligible for age group awards. Anyone who did not sign up as an amateurelite will race with their respective age group and wave and are not eligible for cash prizes.
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female triathletes in each age category, Sprint & Olympic: 19 & under, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 44 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74, 75 - 79, 80 - 84, 85+.

All participants will receive a technical T-Shirt, race packet goodies, and are eligible for our prize giveaways (must be present to win).
Award ceremonies will at about 11:30 am near the start/finish line in the park. Must be present to win.
This is not USAT sanctioned event, however, we still request that you abide by all the rules of the road set out by USAT.
The swim course is done by waves in 3 minutes intervals, first the Olympic triathletes, and then Sprint. There will be a break between the Olympic and the sprint waves to allow all Olympic athletes to get onto the 2nd lap before we start the sprint athletes.
The bike portion is an out and back on a mix of residential and city area roads.
The run is also an out and back that is fairly level terrain mostly on beautiful trails along the river. Everyone will be chip timed, using Championchip timing by Final Time, Inc., with split times also recorded.
Take Hwy 52 South to the 41st/37th Street Exit, drive on the access road to 37th Street and take a right. The IBM parking area will be on your left side. If you want to go to the HyVee parking lot, take a left on 37th Street. Continue about a mile and HyVee will be on your right. Foster Arend Park is just past HyVee about a mile, on your left. There will be a shuttle getting everyone to the park.
Take HWY 90 west to the Rochester Exit. Head North on Hwy 63/Broadway through south Rochester, through downtown, turn left on 37th Street (Foster Arend Park is on the right in a block). Continue about a mile and HyVee will be on your left. To get to IBM, continue another mile, going over Hwy.
