2014 Walking Together For Youth 5K Walk/Run:
The Surprise-El Mirage PTA Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization representing 17 PTA Schools of the Dysart Unified School District, Desert Oasis PTSA and Mustang PTA of Calibre Academy, is hosting its 3rd annual Walking Together For Youth 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
Our goal is to make the Walking Together For Youth 5K a premier annual event to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity in the lives of our children. Proceeds for this event will sponsor physical education programs in our schools.
The event will feature a 5K race that begins and ends at Willow Canyon High School in Surprise.
Following the race, we plan to have an awards ceremony for all 1st,2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age bracket, and refreshments post-race.
