2014 Iron Nugget Sprint Triathlon:
The Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson, TN is our host for a unique "endurance" distance and sprint triathlons. Performance shirts & socks for all participants. Unique awards to top 3 M & F finishers, top 3 M & F Masters and 3 deep in 5 year age groups.
Race start time is 8 AM Central Standard Time - Arrive at site no later than 7:00 AM CST for ample time for parking, packet pickup and getting ready for longer event starting promptly at 8 AM CST.
Hammer Nutrition products in race packets and GU will be available on courses. Late registration / packet pickup Friday, May 9th from 5:30 - 7 PM & Saturday, May 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 AM.
Course Information:
SWIM - .5 mile -
The swim takes place in Acorn Lake.
No current, no large swells and warm water.
Water temperature was 70 degrees on April 14th.
Wet suits will most likely be allowed.

BIKE - 17 miles -
The bike is a flat to rolling bike course that is perfect for athletes of all abilities.

Directions:
From Interstate 40:
Take Exit 182 (Fairview/Dickson Hwy. 96).
Turn to go West on Hwy. 96.
Stay on Hwy. 96 until it deadends at Hwy. 70.
Turn right (East) on Hwy. 70, off-ramp provided.
Stay on Hwy. 70 approximately 3 miles.
Main Park Entrance is on the right.
