Floridas Natural Growers Foundation is hosting their Second Annual Charity Classic 5-K Trail Run/Walk.  It begins at the Grove House Visitor Center on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 8:30 AM and a Kids Fun Run for ages 8 and under at 9:30 AM.  The event will conclude with an awards presentation at 10:00 AM.  On-site registration begins at 7:00 AM.  $35.00 per adult race participant, $20 for youth 9-17, and kids 8 and under are Free.  Each paying participant will receive a shirt and a race-day goodie bag.  To register online visit http://www.citrusworldinc.com/community/5krun/.   Participants registered by February 28^th are guaranteed a t-shirt.  The course is a combination of off-road hills, wetlands, and natural Florida terrain. 

The event kicks off the Floridas Natural Charity Classic, a tour stop on the Symetra Tour, the developmental tour of the LPGA.  Several Symetra Tour golfers will be on-hand at the race and participating in the activities during the Floridas Natural Charity Classic 5-K Trail Run/Walk. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Floridas Natural Growers Foundation.  Since the Foundation was created in 2008, nearly $650,000 has been awarded to charitable organizations in the Central Florida area.
