2014 Treasure our Parks Fun Run:
Treasure Our Parks Fun Run As part of its Healthy Parks Healthy People initiative, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation is proud to present the Treasure Our Parks Fun Run at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park.
The run kicks off Treasure Quest, a day of family fun at the park on April 26, 2014 brought to you by KNPB and Washoe County Regional Parks and Open Space.
The 5K begins at the Chinese Pagoda at 9:00 am followed by a free one-mile kids fun run at 10:00 am.
Registration for the 5K includes a treasure bag, t-shirt and pancake breakfast.
Run proceeds help Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation further its mission to raise awareness and appreciation of parks and to foster better stewardship of these vital public resources.
Following the run, make a day of it at the park by enjoying the family-friendly Treasure Quest.
From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, kids can explore a multitude of free, fun, hands-on activities highlighting treasures found right here in northern Nevada.
