2014 Lunatic Triathlon:
The Lunatic Triathlon is a night time triathlon that has been held in Price Utah since 2010. We pick the best full moon during the summer and plan our Sprint Triathlon around it. We start the race with a 5K run, then a 9 mile bike and finish off in the Outdoor Swimming Pool with a 300 yard swim. Headlamps are required for the bike leg of the event and glowsticks are provided for each participant. Come compete as either an individual or as a Relay Team.
Course Information:
You begin with a 5K run through the city streets of Price, UT. Next is a 9 mile bike leg through the city streets and the county roads. A headlamp is REQUIRED for this portion. Finally you finish the race with a 300 yard swim in the Price city desert Wave Pool.
