The Strive 2 Tri Youth Splash & Dash is a FUN, short course Aquathon consisting of a swim in a 3ft outdoor pool followed by a run according to the age of the participant. This event is designed to introduce young athletes to the fun and challenges of a multisport race event.
Course Information:
Swim: 50 meter pool. Athletes will "snake-swim" traversing lanes according to the distance illustrated below to complete the distance. Athletes are encouraged to walk if needed.
Transition: A transition area will be provided for athletes to store their race gear and towel. While the area will be closed to the public and will be monitored by volunteers, please do not leave valuables unattended in transition.
Run: Scenic run on the Paint Branch Trail on a turn-around course which is closed to vehicular traffic.
Directions:
Directly across from the University of Maryland College Park Campus.
Other Info:
ALL Participants receive a Finished Medal, Event Shirt and a goodie bag from our Supporters with great items to start off a healthy day.
FREE LITTLE ONES FUN RUN: A 50 Yards Fun Run for those under 6 years old will start at 7:40am. Sign up on Race Day.
