2014 17th Annual Sherman Steichen Memorial 5K 10K Run:
The Sherman-Steichen Memorial Run was established in 1997 to raise money for scholarship funds intended for Creighton University pharmacy and physical therapy students. This scholarship fund was started in honor of Brett Sherman and Nick Steichen. Brett Sherman was a pharmacy student that joined the Creighton University Pharmacy program in 1995. He was dependable, considerate, and his good nature was evident in his ready grin. Nick Steichen was a member of the Creighton University Physical Therapy class of 2000. He was intelligent, hard-working, and always made sure to have fun. This event is held every year to honor their lives.
