Our 5th year! The Katty Shack event raises funds for The Crime Victim Foundation of Michigan and is held in memory of Katherine Brown, Jeremy, Tyler, Sharmaine Zimmer. "Forever in our Hearts". Activities begin on Friday, the 25th,at St. Pat's Family Center on Fulton in GH from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Join us for a pasta dinner donated by Two Tonys Taverna Grille of Spring Lake, raffles, and music by Lew Russ & Co. At that time you may also pick up your race packets. Late registration is available. Saturday morning at 9 am the 5K begins with the 1 Mile following shortly after. Race Start is on the corner of Wisconsin and Taylor. Packet pick-up & late registration is at St. John's Lutheran Church on Taylor beginning at 7 am. After the runners & walkers finish stay for a free pancake breakfast donated by captured memories by ejk, door prizes, and awards.
Course Information:
Enjoy beautiful, quaint neighborhoods of Grand Haven, a view of Lake Michigan, run along the channel as you loop on the 5K route. The 1 Mile will take you through gorgeous Duncan Woods.
