2014 Westfield Wave Triathlon:
This is the race to introduce the sport to athletes and non-athletes alike, as either of these races are great for beginner or seasoned triathletes, and all persons 11-years and older are welcomed and encouraged to register as an individual or as a relay team.
Course Information:
Sprint Distance: 0.3 mile open water swim/ 13 mile bike/ 3 mile run.
- 1 loop open water swim course
- 2 loop course on rolling hills/flats
- out and back run
Super Sprint Distance: 300 yd open water swim/ 6.3 mile bike/ 1 mile run
- 1 loop open water swim course
- 1 loop course on rolling hills/flats
- out and back run
Clockwise bicycle course around Hampton Ponds State Park, leaving via the West gate.
West on Old Apremont Way
Right on to Long Pond Rd
Straight through stop sign onto Middle Road
Right turn onto East St (at Bashista's orchard)
Right turn onto County Road and then
Right turn onto Rte 202 back to State Park Main Entrance
