This Race event is two 5k race events being ran at the beautiful Tippecanoe Amphitheater located at 4449 Indiana 43, West Lafayette, IN 47906. The first event will be a five person team event in which the teams will compete for a victory cup. The median age of team members will determine which age group the team will be competing in for the race. The age groups for the team event will be 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, and 40 and over. The second event is an individual race in which prizes will be awarded to male and female for third, second, and first place for varies age groups. The individual age groups will be as follows: 18 and under, 19 to 24, 25 to 30, 31 to 36, 37 to 42, 43 to 49, and 50 and above. The overall male and female winners will be given a champions t-shirt. All participants that register before the deadline will receive a race t-shirt for participating. Course Information:


The course is completely on the grounds of the Tippecanoe Amphitheater in West Lafayette, Indiana. This course is used as William Henry Harrison High School cross country's home course. Brad Krick was a member of this team before he was killed at the age of seventeen. Part of the course runs along the Wabash River. There is no worry of traffic or vehicles on the course. Directions:


Traveling from Indianapolis: North on I65 take exit 178 Lafayette/Brookston. Keep Left at fork. Following the signs for Prophetstown St. Turn left onto St. Rd. 43 South/ North River Road. Destination will be on the left.

Traveling from Monticello: Start on US-24 W/?US-421 N. Turn left on IN-43 S/?S Kenton St. Continue on IN-43 until see sign for Tippecanoe Amphitheater on left.

Traveling from Logansport: Start on IN-25/?Burlington Ave. Turn right onto US-24/?US-35/?Logansport Bypass. Take the ramp to IN-25. Keep right at the fork and merge onto IN-25. Turn right onto E Main St. Slight right onto IN-39 N/?US-421 N/?W Monroe St. Continue to follow IN-39 N/?US-421 N. Continue onto IN-18 W. Turn left onto IN-43 S/?S Prairie St. Continue to follow IN-43 S and signs for Tippecanoe Amphitheater. Destination will be on the left.

Traveling from Kokomo: Start on IN-22 W/?Sycamore Ln. Continue to follow IN-22 W. Turn left onto IN-29 S/?S Michigan St. Continue to follow IN-29 S. Turn right onto IN-26 W. Take the ramp onto I-65 N. Take exit 178 Lafayette/Brookston. Keep Left at fork. Following the signs for Prophetstown St. Turn left onto St. Rd. 43 South/ North River Road. Destination will be on the left.

Traveling from Frankfort: Start on 28W to I65N. Take exit 178 Lafayette/Brookston. Keep Left at fork. Following the signs for Prophetstown St. Turn left onto St. Rd. 43 South/ North River Road. Destination will be on the left.

Traveling from Crawfordsville: Start on 231 North. Turn right onto S River Rd. Destination will be on the Right. If you reach I65 intersection have gone past and need to turn around.

Traveling from Attica: Start East on St. Rd. 28. Turn left onto IN-25 N/IN-28 E. Turn left onto US-231 N/?US-52 W. Turn right onto S River Rd. Destination will be on the Right.

This is the first race for this event. It falls the day after Brad James Krick was killed; July 25, 2000. We ask that people be careful traveling to and from the race. Brad was killed at the age of seventeen because a man fell asleep at the wheel of a truck and smashed into Brad's car.
