Thundering Hooves 5K
is a fun run set in Western Howard County. The trail course meanders
throughout the rescue's 109 acre farm, giving the runners spectacular
views of the undulating pastures and all of our draft horses. The
course makes use of all types of terrain - across our rolling hills,
through our woodlots and along the creek bottom. You will not find a
prettier race course. Be sure to stay after the race to meet the
horses.They love carrots, apples, and peppermints!
We
have added a virtual runner for those who can't make the event but
still want to support the rescue. You will receive a Thundering Hooves
T-shirt. (These will be mailed, so be sure to include your complete
mailing address.)
Participants will pick up their packets and Thundering Hooves T-shirts at the registration table.
T-shirts can not be guaranteed to runners signing up after April 11th
