2nd Annual Uber Asphalt (Urban Bike Experience Ride) is an obstacle hunt using bikes, brains and brawn. Starting and ending at Lift For Life Academy, 1731 S. Broadway in Soulard, bicyclists in teams of 2 will create their own routes, taking them through the city of St. Louis, in a race to complete this fun scavenger hunt. NEW THIS YEAR: A division for individual riders who only want to ride to each station but dont want to compete in the obstacles. At 6 checkpoints, riders will get bottle caps to be redeemed at the races end for a 6-pk of craft beer. For the under 21 crowd, theyll get a 6-pk of craft soda. Each rider will receive a commemorative pint glass. This is a fundraiser to benefit Lift For Life Academy, a charter school serving 580 students. www.liftforlifeacademy.org/events/uber-asphalt
