2014 Black Hills Trail Running Series - Dino Trail Run:
The Black Hills Runners Club presents its 6th annual Trail Running Series, set in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming's Bear Lodge Mountains. The Dino Trail run starts at Dinosaur Park on Skyline Dr. in Rapid City. We'll run a 3 to 5 mile trail through the Skyline Wilderness Area. After the run, we'll go to Summer Nights on 7th Street!The Black Hills Trail Running Series emphasizes personal achievement and the joy of exercise in the outdoors, in a relaxed and fun setting. It consists of 10 trail runs. We clearly mark the trails, record all finish times, and post the results on our web site. We award points in Men/Women Divisions with three age groups: Open Division, 39 and under; and Masters Division, 40 - 49; Grand Master 50 and older. We keep a running total of the accumulated points and present awards at the end of the series in November. We do not present awards for the winners of each individual race, however, we do provide a few prizes for noteworthy runs, and have drawings for door prizes
