2014 Southern Hills Triathlon:
The 17th Annual Southern Hills Triathlon, in cooperation with South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks.
This event is a fundraiser for the Hot Springs Friends of the Library.
Athletes can participate as an individual or as part of a team in the Sprint, Olympic and Duathlon events.
Door prizes and great post race food.
Finisher medals for all athletes.
Special awards for overall winners.
First place age group medals.
Youth triathlon is open for those ages 7-14.
Course Information:
- Open water swim in Angostura Reservoir (water temp 74 degrees, wet suits allowed).
- Bike on paved roads which are not closed to traffic.
- Run on asphalt path which is closed to vehicles.
- Some hills on bike and run.
- One of the most scenic venues in the area.
