Distance: Choice of 4 Mile and 6 Mile trails
4 MILE night race starts at Dusk, so bring your headlamp! There will be glow sticks along the trail to help guide your way.
Running our trails at night will be the most fun you ever had at an OCR! Every sense in your body will be heightened, every obstacle will pose a greater challenge. In near pitch dark it takes guts to tackle our mud pools, tunnels, and steep ravines. After the finish line, there is no better way to end the night than with a great cook out, log pyramid bonfire, and beer!
Bring a tent and camp with us overnight!
Outside food and drinks are allowed, and
camping is always free!!!

. 8:20pm 4 Mile Race
. Registration opens at 7:00pm
Log Pyramid Bonfire will start at 11:00pm

Dirt Runner has one of the TOUGHEST 4 MILE TRAILS YOU WILL EVER RUN!
In 2014 we will have five events with trail lengths from 4 Miles to 8 Miles long.
Dirt Runner is about great competition and amazing post race atmosphere. Our trails utilize the best natural landscape around Chicagoland, no ands ifs or buts about it! You can expect 4 miles of incredible terrain, 40+ tough obstacles and a total elevation change of over 1200 ft.
Dirt Runner course will test beginners and top athletes Run the course as many times as you want in the same day. Our year round events offer smaller crowds for any race and eliminate the waiting time to tackle any obstacle. All runners are free to set their own pace. Everybody can try any obstacle more than once during the race.
As if that wasnt enough, nobody can beat our festival area activities! Test your balance and speed on our Ninja Warrior/Wipeout style course. Show off your strength on the Samson ladder, and pegboard climb. We also got slacklines, slosh pipes, tire flip, rope climb, and more.
Now it wouldnt be an obstacle race without plenty of food and beer. If what you crave isnt on our menu, bring your own grill and start grilling! We allow outside food and drinks! You can set up your own picnic right in our festival area. In fact, if your group wants to camp out for the night and run the course again on Sunday morning, well stay and camp out with you!
