East Grand Adventure Race : Off Road |
Triathlon : 1 mile compass run, 10 miles mtn bike, 7 miles paddle. Mudder Crawl, River Traverse, Log Rolling, Tomahawk Throwing |
This is our 9th adventure race. The 20 mile race will consist of four parts, 1st an off trail compass run 1+ miles, 2nd will be mountain biking for approx. 10 miles on woods roads, trails with a few extra challenges along the way such as a TOUGHT MUDDER CRAWL, LOG ROLLING & TOMAHAWK THROWING CHALLENGE. 3rd is canoeing for 8 miles on Baskahegan Stream (Note: distances are approximate).
Registration: Pre-registration required. 8:00-8:30am check-in at East Grand High$20 per person, $30.00 per person the day of the event
Other info: Registration fee includes t-shirt and lunch. $1,050.00 in prizes for the high school divisions and the juniors in the Jr./Sr. division.
Level of difficulty: While the race will be physically challenging. It is not beyond the reach of those who are in reasonably good physical condition. We highly recommend a routine of training, well before the race that includes biking, jogging/running and canoeing. There will be a water, Gatorade, and snacks located at each transition point.
