The MADdash is a certified 5k event sanctioned by USA Track and Field, in honor of Madeline Loftus. Madeline was only 24 years old when she was taken from us in the tragic crash of Continental Flight 3407 in Buffalo, NY. She was a beautiful, genuine young woman whose charming wit and infectious smile touched the lives of many. The MADdash 5k is meant to emulate Maddys spirit and honor her memory. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Maddy Loftus Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The 5k will take place on April 26, 2014. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
and the race itself starts at 10 a.m. Participants have the choice to either
run or walk the race
