Miana was a 14 year old Freshman who was killed when she walked in on a burglary on her home. This 5K event will benefit the scholarship created in her memory.
The third annual Miana Stewart Scholarship 5K Run/Walk will be Saturday April 12 at Musselman Middle School. Entry forms can be picked up at Golds Gym in Martinsburg and Charles Town, Extreme Fitness Martinsburg, Total Fitness Inwood, Berkeley Medical Wellness Center Martinsburg and Shepherd University Wellness Center Shepherdstown. The Scholarship has awarded $21,000 to female students at Musselman High School. Miana's kind and giving spirit lives through this event and the scholarship fund that it supports.
