The Magic City Mudder is one of the ONLY Mud Run's in the Birmingham area. You may have heard of Mud Runs before, but just in case you havent here is a brief description: A Mud Run is an awesome adventure throughyou guessed itmud! Mud run courses typically combine all the muck with military-style obstacles that require a great amount of grit and determination to conquer. And The Magic City Mudder is nothing less than that!
The Magic City Mudder is a 5k mud run for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Don't worry, it's not a "race" in the traditional sense. It is an obstacle course designed to push you out of your comfort zone, but only as far as you are comfortable going!
Forming teams is encouraged, and so is helping your fellow runners get through to the finish. At the Magic City Mudder you'll find excitement, laughter, and camaraderieas well as a day you'll never forget!!
Course Information:
For those of you who participated in the 1st Magic City Mudder, we promise to have some new tricks up our sleeve. We are designing a brand new course with a whole new set of obstacles. On June 7th, 2014 the mud will be ready. The participants will be grunting and groaning. But more importantly, they'll be cheering...cheering each other on through the 3.1 miles of challenging, muddy obstacles. The course is an all-terrain race including mud holes, walls, trenches, and other obstacles that require crawling, climbing, jumping and determination.
