An Escape from School Youth Series Event.

Longest Traditional Premium Youth Series on the East Coast.

Course Information:

Tri: Swim - 100 yards - point to point swim. Beach start.
Du: Run - 0.4 mile - on grass

Bike - 2.4 miles. On controlled road.

Run - 0.4 mile - on grass

"Fun Run" - same run course immediately following the triathlon

Directions:

From Philadelphia and North

Interstate 95 South
Exit #1A onto Route 896 South towards Middletown

From New Jersey

Delaware Memorial Bridge (295 South) - toll bridge
SEE BELOW

From Maryland and South

Interstate 95 North
Exit #1 onto Route 896 South towards Middletown
SEE BELOW

From Seashore of Delaware and Maryland

Rt 1 and 13 North
Go over the Senator William V. Roth, Jr. Bridge (Rt 1 Bridge) - Toll bridge
First Exit after bridge is Exit 152.
Take Exit 152, turn left onto Route 72, West toward Newark
Go for 1.4 miles and turn left onto Route 71 South (Red Lion Road)
Go for 1.2 miles and turn right onto Howell School Road
Go for 1.8 miles and turn left into the main entrance of Lums Pond State Park
Stay on main road of State Park for 1.5 miles to Beach Area (Area #1)
Will have to pay entrance fee per vehicle

BELOW

Stay on Route 896 South for approximatley 5.5 miles (you will cross over Route 40)
Left onto Howell School Road
Go for 0.3 mile and turn right into main entrance of Lums Pond State Park
Stay on main road of State Park for 1.5 miles to Beach Area (Area #1)
Will have to pay entrance fee per vehicle
