Celebrate the unofficial beginning of summer with a family friendly Splash & Dash race in West Reading Park. Our "no frills" race features a 150 meter "snake" swim in the borough pool and mile run around the park. Sign up as an individual or with your family and finish together. Along with the race we will have a DJ playing music, a varity of local West Reading vendors and each participant will receive a goodie bag full of sponsor coupons and product samples. Notes: Day of the race registration will be held in the upper level of the stone pavilion off Sycamore Road. Registration opens a 8:30am, Pre-race meeting at 9:45am and the race will begin promptly at 10am. Race provided: A secure transition area, wheel measured course, professional timing, race bib & water stations. Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall winners. To participate you will need: A swimsuit, goggles, running shoes, t-shirt. Optional: swim cap, towel, backpack.
