This 5K is for the benefit of Partners in Education, the parent association for GMG Elementary School. 100 % of the profits will be directed to the Playground Resurfacing Project to replace the current playground covering with a safer covering to reduce injuries. We will be hosting a kid's fun run after the completion of the 5K.
Course Information:
We are a scenic 5K run/walk around Union Grove Lake in Union Grove State Park, Tama County, Iowa. The course is a road race on a newly paved road with several hills. The course is both challenging and beautiful.
Directions:
Union Grove State Park is located on T47 in Tama County, Iowa. The race begins and ends in the parking lot for the beach.
