2014 Revolution3 Morgantown Half Iron & Olympic Distance Triathlons:

Revolution 3 is expanding their 2014 race line-up, adding Morgantown REV3 the Weekend of August 1-3.

The events are nestled in Morgantown, a quaint town in the countryside hills of West Virginia.

Course Information:

Swim:

This picturesque triathlon course based in Morgantown, West Virginia will have you starting out your swim in the Monongahela River (or if you are a local "The Mon") just below the dam where water flow will be controlled to give you the best swimming conditions possible in this amazing mountain river.

Bike:

After exiting the river, you will hit the transition area right along the Caperton Trail, grab your bike and head south down the trail, through town and out onto the country roads of West Virginia. Although there are mountains galore all around, the course is relatively flat with only a few challenging hills to make those legs and lungs burn.

Run:

After completing your ride you will be back in town, transitioning onto foot and taking to the Capertoon trail for a fast run along the river banks of the Monongahela River. Looking for a unique finish to your hard miles? We got it. The Revolution3 finish line will be located right inside the Waterfront Place hotel with all the usual fanfare and glory you deserve.
