WHAT: Mississippi Damage Prevention Council will host the 811 Run, an 8.11-kilometer run/walk at Atmos Energy in Flowood on Saturday, April 12, to remind all Mississippi residents to call 811 2 Working Days before digging, regardless of the size of the project.
Mississippi residents who plan to dig are required by law to make a free call to 811 to notify the utility owners that are members of Mississippi 811, Inc. of their intent to dig. Professional utility line locators will then visit the dig site to mark the approximate location of underground utility lines with paint or flags.

Proceeds will benefit Mississippi Damage Prevention Council, a-Non Profit organization helping make Mississippi a safer place to live and work.
