The race will take place at Brookside Park and will start at 10 am. The concept of Doughnut Run is to allow participants to decrease their finishing time by eating doughnuts along the course. There will be 4 doughnut stations and for every doughnut eaten, a sticker will be placed on your race bib and at the finish, time will be subtracted for every doughnut eaten. So, the more doughnuts you eat, the more time subtracted! And of course, you don't have to eat the doughnuts so if you are just looking for a fun 5K to run, Doughnut Run is for you!
Every race participant will receive a custom 2014 Doughnut Run 5K pint glass.
Groups of people can register as teams and compete for fastest team time.
Awards will be given for fastest male, fastest female, fastest team, fastest doughnut adjusted time for male, female, and team, and most doughnut eaten by male and female, and best individual costume and best team costume.
Costumes are encouraged and we love to see what people come up with!
