The Youth Splash and Dash is an effort to drive youth participation. The focus of this series is on participation. The event will be timed, and There will be no discounts given for this event.
This event is to encourage kids to live a healthy lifestyle by participating in a little swimming, and running. We look forward to this year's event
This is a kids only Swim/Run taken place at the Pompano Beach Aquatic Complex. Your child will swim in a pool, and run on a closed course. The entry fee will cover race goodies, and a post race party.
Course Information:
ALL CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL
5-6 Year Olds
Swim: .25 Yards
Run: .25Mile
7-11Year Olds
Swim: 100 Yards
Run: .5 Miles
12-15 Year Olds
Swim: 200 Yards
Run: 1 Miles
The course and age categories are broken down by age appropriate distances. Awards will be broken down top 3 M/F so that each age is competing against each age. For Example 5 year olds against 5 year olds, 6 year olds against 6 year olds, 7 year olds against 7 year olds, all the way up to 15.
