2010 Rocketkidz Triathlon:
The 7th annual Rocketkidz will be held at LSU again (great venue).
Ages are 6-14 yrs old (based on their age on 12/31 of this year).
Your child's age tells you what division they race in (Sputnik/Apollo/Saturn) and their division tells you how far they have to go to complete each leg of the race.
Please note USAT considers their age by what they are on 12/31 of this year (not on race day).

Saturns: (ages 11-14) 200 meter swim, 4 mile bike, 2 k run
Apollos: (ages 7-10) 100 meter swim, 2 mile bike, 1k run
Sputniks: (age 6 by Dec.31) 50 meter swim, 1.5 mile bike, 1k run

There will be tents and post race refreshments for the kids.
The awards ceremony will take place shortly after the last finisher.
Every kid gets a finishers medal. No training wheels.
Kids must be able to progress in the pool on their own without the aid of floaties or another person.
The pool is 6 ft deep at all points.
