BASH Winter Triathlon is just that...a Winter Multisport event that consists of running, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing - all performed on the packed and groomed XC ski trails of the World famous Soldier Hollow (former 2002 Winter Olympic Venue).

BASH is a perfect way to learn new sports, improve your base fitness, and expand your skills as a multi-sport athlete during the off-season.

Course Information:

5km Run, 15km Bike, 10km Ski

At this years BASH, the running portion of the race (snowshoes not allowed) will be contested on hard-packed snow (packed XC ski trails) with a distance of 5 kilometers.

The mountain bike leg will be a distance of 15 kilometers.

The final leg, cross country skiing (classic or skating allowed), will be 10 kilometers long.

From Salt Lake City, take I-80 East to Silver Creek Junction (exit 146). Go east on U.S. 40 past Jordanelle Reservoir toward Heber City. Take right turn on State Road 113 (100 South) to Midway. Take a left on 113 in Midway, and travel two miles. Turn right just before the railroad tracks and follow signs to Soldier Hollow. Located in Wasatch Mountain State Park, Soldier Hollow is about 53 miles from downtown Salt Lake City.

From Park City, take State Road 248 East to U.S. 40 to Heber City and then follow above directions to Soldier Hollow.

From Provo, take U.S. 189 through Provo Canyon. Immediately at the end of Deer Creek Reservoir, turn left on Route 113 and follow signs to Soldier Hollow.
