Cost for the run is $16.00 for pre-registration and $20.00 for late registration (after 5/3/08). 34K Mountain Bike course is $20.00 preregistration and $25.00 late. Cost of duathlon is $25 early and $30 for late. One mile registration is $5.00. If a runner fails to show, his entry is non-refundable and will be considered a donation. If you don’t run the race you will not receive a shirt. Pre-registration will close on 3 May 2008. - - - - -

The 12th Annual Mountain Ranger Run Association offers the most challenging and scenic cross-country/trail course that the North Georgia Mountains can provide. This race will be held in conjunction with the 5th Ranger Training Battalions Open House. The Open House will highlight US Army Ranger combat techniques, military mountaineering, hand-to-hand combat, and static displays.- - - - -

Location: From the Dahlonega square, go north on Hwy 19 for approx. 2 miles. Turn left on Wahsega Road. Look for signs. Go to the end of the road (approx. 9 miles) to Camp Frank D. Merrill (plan 30 minutes for travel from Dahlonega and for parking).- - - - -

Water will be provided approx. every 2 miles along the run course, and every five miles along the bike course. Fruit, drinks, and water will be provided at the finish line. Showers are available (Male & Female). A limited number of lockers are also available for participants’ use.
