Grab a friend. Form a team. Pound your way through Mud Run MS, a giant muddy 10k obstacle course! Demonstrate your strength, speed, and grit as you race for the best time in the Trophy/Competitive Division, or just come out to have fun and get dirty for a great cause. As a team-building experience, the Mud Run has no match. It is an amazing experience that teams of co-workers, athletes, friends, or family members will not soon forget. All proceeds benefit the National MS Society.
Course Information:
The National MS Society and The Original Mud Run have partnered together to create a unique fundraising event for MS here in St. Louis. As the fastest growing adventure race in the country, the Mud Run provides an opportunity for people of all skill levels to push themselves and join in the muddy fun! The Mud Run is open to anyone over age 14.
If you and your team are in it to win it, be sure to enter in the Trophy/Competitive Division. The event's founders are former U.S. Marines, and to uphold the race's military tradition, runners in the Trophy/Competitive Division must wear long pants and boots. Prizes will be awarded for the top three finishers in each of the following categories: Male Individual, Female Individual, Male Team, Female Team, and Coed Team. Trophy/Competitive teams consist of five participants. To qualify for a team time, all teammates must cross the finish line together.
If you are just interested in getting dirty, rising to a personal challenge, and having fun, and you don't really care if you win or lose, the DGAP Division is for you. The course is the same, but with less stringent requirements (no boots!), the run will be slightly less intense. Don't worry, unless you are in the military special forces, a professional athlete, or a superhero, the DGAP Division will still be plenty challenging! DGAP teams can have any number of participants.
