Revolution3 Triathlon is pleased to announce a brand new location for the 2012 season!
On August 26, 2012 Rev3, in partnership with OOB365, will launch a new Olympic and Half Rev race in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
Pro and age group athletes are invited to compete in both distances for cash prizes.
Relay and aquabike categories in each race
The Olympic distance race comprises a .93 mile swim, 24.86 mile bike and 6.2 mile run and the Half Rev race is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run.
Both swim legs will take place in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The bike course starts out flat and fast before taking riders into a series of rolling hills, giving them the chance to experience the beauty of the surrounding Maine farmland and countryside.
Tall pine trees provide shade over much of the course, which winds through Saco, Dayton, Lyman, Waterboro, Hollis, and Old Orchard Beach.
