This was reposted by the race director because it is hysterical!
"Steve,
We have a bromance. I think I love you.
I wanted to say thank you again for puttin on a great...no WICKED AWESOME event. I've been telling everyone i meet about how awesome it was! The swim was wicked (in a good way & I made it out of the water without the life guards haha) if it was easy everyone would do it. I am still new to triathlon but between this tri and the wildwoods I'm hooked on Delmo Events for life, I am going to be there every year if I'm stateside. I'm a Delmo Sports groupie now.
Everyone I spoke to had nothing but great things to say. Be proud you pulled off an awesome triathlon in an Amazing venue and you kept everyones spirits up, we felt lucky and happy you pulled off us beign able to bike the ACE....seriously how many people do you know that can say they've done that....shut down a major highway so we can bicycle on it! If there were a millions problems and I'm sure there were no one could tell you seemed cool headed and were able to crack jokes the whole way through.
I met a couple of people at the awards and we ended up talking abotu the race for 2 hours at the Ballys bar. All good things.I can go on more and more about how awesome it was but you already know, your directed it. I have been pumped since and telling everyone so i figured I would send you an email to let you know how much all the racers enjoyed it.
Take it easy, hope you and your family are doing well.
Very Respectfully,
Brent Gannon"
