2012 Expedition Man Triathlon:
Expedition Man would like to introduce the inaugural Endurance Festival featuring Northern Nevada’s 1st Ultra Distance Triathlon.
A unique course that starts swimmers at Zephyr Cove in the beautiful southern part of Lake Tahoe, Ca.
The 112 mile bike ride will utilizes a variety of Northern Nevada’s scenery including a 1,400 ft elevation drop into Carson City.
Three fast out-and-back’s around the Sparks Marina will cap off this extraordinary race.

Course Info:

Swim:
The swim begins in beautiful Zephyr Cove in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
Athletes racing the Ultra will exit the water and have a short beach run in between laps.
Except water temperatures to be in the mid 50-60° F range.
Bike:
Starting from Zephyr Cove, cyclists head north on Highway 50.
After a screaming 1400 ft drop from Spooner Summit, you enter Carson City.
The course takes riders past the State's Legislature, Supreme Court & Capitol Buildings of Nevada.
Passing the V&T Railroad the course the hits Combs Canyon which will challenge riders as they climb up and into Washoe Valley.
A majority of the race will tour riders in and around the peaceful valley passing Bowers Mansion and fields of livestock.
The last leg will head riders through the southeast portion of Reno ending at The Legends at Sparks Marina.
Run:
Three fast out-and-back's around the Sparks Marina will cap off the extraordinary race.
