2011/2012 Chilly Cheeks Duathlon Series - Race #2:
The second event in the 2011-2012 Chilly Cheeks Duathlon Series.
This low key series offers three run-bike events at Denver’s Cherry Creek State Park during the winter months.
Each event features a different format, covering approximately 4 miles of running and 10 miles of biking.
The January event starts with a 1.5 mile run, followed by a 3.5 mile paved bike ride, then a 2.5 mile run , and concludes with a 7 mile paved bike ride.
Road and fat tire divisions offered.
Post race raffles and food provided.

The bike takes place inside the park on paved auto roads (sometimes with snow.
The run is on a mixture of roads, bike paths and well maintained dirt trails.
